More Than Just a Golf Course
The San Roque Club acts as backdrop for Villa Smith properties, which overlook Holes 5 and 8 of the San Roque Old Course, a golfing venue steeped in history, as host to 15 past European Tour Schools, and The Spanish Open in 2005. More than just a golf course, The San Roque Club provides access to a stunning clubhouse and restaurant (open to the public), as well as first-class Golf Academy and training facilities.
San Roque Old Course
The San Roque Old Course is surrounded by lush hills and historic cork oak wood forest that it shares with neighbouring Valderrama Golf Club. A Dave Thomas design, opened in 1991, it came to be associated with Valderrama and Real Club de Sotogrande as the 'golden triangle of golf'.
San Roque Clubhouse
The foothills of Sierra Bermeja serve as backdrop to the stunning clubhouse, former home of the Domecq Sherry Family. An ideal place to unwind and take in the natural Andalucian beauty, whilst sampling a range of international and regional cuisine, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Jason Floyd Golf Academy
The Jason Floyd Golf Academy is a state of the art teaching facility unlike any other on the Costa Del Sol. Returning from a storied apprenticeship in the US, Jason hand-picked The San Roque Club as European base for his coaching facility.
San Roque Golf & Resort
Located opposite the Old Course, this Perry Dye & Seve Ballesteros design hosted the 2006 Spanish Open and several finals of the European Tour Qualifying School. A highly regarded technical challenge with stunning views of the local nature reserve.
